House painting,handmade in oil

December 10th, 2013

One day, a returning customer sent me an photo and asked if we can turn it in oil.

It was a house image which is  a little blurry. It’s said that the houseburned to the ground a few years ago and the customer would like to recreate a portrait painting for their parents.  Due to it being photo copy and not clear enough, so what the customer concerned is ” if the picture high enough quality for a portrait to be made?” They knew we can make it because we did a painting for them before.

Usually, yes, especially for portrait painting.  The better the picture, the better the final result. But, sometimes our artist can create based on the original picture.  An experienced artist painter is able to paint and color by his experience, even though a black and white photograph can be converted into a colored one.

Thanks for your trust, we made it finally. This is what we created:

Dancing on the Wedding day

November 28th, 2013

This  wedding painting would be  a gift for one’s best friend (of 25 years) . She thought this would be a perfect gift to a new couple.

Yes, portrait painting is a great gift idea for holidays such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, Fathers day and Mother’s Day, also an optimum present for wedding couple and anniversary. We all understand that no other way would keep memory longer than turning it into oil on canvas.

We are happy to help you have special moments become eternal.

Commissioned portrait painting

November 5th, 2013

We completed a commissioned portrait painting from a digital mock up image. Do you know how we made it?

One day, a customer asked:

–Would it be possible for a portrait of my profile/head be added to a bust of a historical military general

(in a traditional oil painting?)

–Yes. Definitely we can.

Then we got the pictures photoshopped as expected for the customer’s preview.

We started to paint once the customer approved of the picture to be painted.

At last, our client and his folks were pleased with the painting when they got it.

We are even more happy when we get feedback from our customers that ” AWESOME! WE LOVE IT!!”.

Put the portraits together

September 24th, 2013

It’s really a good idea to put the children’s portraits in together for the home decor and the wall art decoration.

Recently, we completed the painting for the boy. A few years ago, we painted a portrait for his elder sister.  His parents would like to put their portraits together in the same room, so the same size is requested.  Believe it must be fabulous when you enter your room seeing your boy and girl smiling to you:)

Doubtlessly, the painting captured a special memory.  It doesn’t only record a happy time of the childhood.

Also we received feedback after the customer received this artwork:

We had a great experience with PortraitPainting.com ! They were very patient with my mom and I, as they recreated a postcard from the early 1900’s of our home.
My mom was so happy with the painting she cried !!
Thank you Portraitpainting for turning this small bend black and white postcard into a work of art !!

Everly Originals

July 29th, 2009

Over the past several weeks, we have been contacted by several customers of Everly Originals.

I’ll be honest, I’ve never heard of this company before.  Apparently, they sold their product and service through the Home Shopping Network.  You can view there product on the HSN website.

According to several people that have emailed us, Everly Originals went out of business and they never got the product they were promised.  These unhappy customers are hesitant to do business with us because they are afraid we will go out of business.

I would like to ease some minds.  One, we have no intention of going out of business anytime soon.  Although we are only two years old, we are a strong company with a stronger reputation.  Second (and most important), you will never have to worry about losing your money because we don’t charge you for the painting until you approve it and it’s sent.

One last thing, Everly’s product is “Unframed Gicleé Print”.  This is not the same as a hand painted oil painting.  A gicleé print is a print – it is NOT a painting.  We offer paintings that are completely done by hand.  Our prices may seem high compared to other services, and that is the reason.

We turned this older wedding photo into an oil painting.  Although our artist had to improvise with some of the finer details, the customer was still happy.
